Tell us about you!
Heya! I’m Riley Cyriis, THE Manic Pixie E-Thot. I’m an adult content creator and model from Boston. I make most of my content in my own little indie studio, Cyriis Studios. I play cello and love to longboard, just not at the same time. I try to inject some positivity and humor into everything that I do, including all the spicy stuff!
How long have you been in the Adult industry?
I got my start in online porn at the end of 2019. Half accidentally and half out of spite. My partner and I had put a couple little sex tapes up on Pornhub, just for a bit of exhibitionism and not thinking much of it. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, someone from our hometown found them despite geoblocking the state and went out of his way to show everyone and both of our jobs. After the initial shock, we decided to go all in rather than be ashamed.
Aside from RedGIFs, what platforms are you active on?
For social media, my favorite platforms are Reddit and TikTok. But I’m also on Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr. For porn stuff, I’m on Manyvids, where you can find my biggest video library and physical store items like panties and my art. I use Onlyfans and Fansly for my subscription sites as well.
What’s one thing you wish you would have been told when starting your journey in this industry?
I came into the industry as close to totally clueless as one can be. I never watched much porn and didn’t even know where to find it besides Pornhub. I caught on to how to make content and market it properly pretty quickly, but I struggled with naivete and let myself be taken advantage of a few times. Keeping a good relationship with other sex workers and fans is really important, but I was much too trusting of everyone right off the bat. So, I guess I wish I knew that porn is a serious business, despite the social aspects of it.
What do you love most about RedGIFs?
I’ve always really appreciated RedGIFs’ commitment to keeping NSFW content safe and available, especially after Imgur, gfycat, etc., changed their ToS and went full SFW. Spending more time on your platform, I see how much you care about the creators. The recent update to automatically watermark verified creators’ content with their RedGIFs handle was amazing, even though some Reddit mods are in a fury over it.
What is your favorite thing about being an Adult Content Creator?
There’s so much that I love about it! Being my own boss and having the freedom to express myself creatively is at the top of the list. I’ve met so many amazing people at conventions or strictly online, lots of folks that I would consider good friends now. I was also really surprised at the ways I’d be able to use my platform. My fans obviously enjoy my porn, but some started commissioning my art and writing as well. The first few times it happened, it was a really emotional experience for me. Those are things that I love doing, but nobody paid attention to them until I started making adult content. It’s a little thing, but it’s one that I hold on to when I’m in a rut or feeling burned out.
What’s your favorite type of content to create?
I really like my kink stuff. Cutesy BDSM and watersports are my specialty, and I get to do that stuff with my partners as an added bonus. I’m Polyamorous and both of my partners also make content, so I get to do a lot of boy/girl/girl stuff. I also love doing cosplay. I’m not AMAZING at it, but it’s a lot of fun. I usually make some videos when I do one, but the SFW stuff for tiktok is my favorite. I really get to be weird and show my personality that way!
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I’ve got a few quirky facts I can share. I grew up in a religious cult, but I didn’t know what it was at the time. I did ballet and beauty pageants. I lost my virginity at a Christian rock festival when I was 19 and started doing porn less than a year later. And I’m a mortician!
What advice would you give to other creators who are just getting started?
Just keep your head up and give yourself time to grow into the creator you really want to be. Trends are great for clicks, but your star will shine brightest when you’re doing things that you actually love. And when you do that, it’ll show in your content. That’s when you’ll develop your ride or die fan base who will really help push you towards long term success. Also practice self-care, never feel bad for taking a break, and always stand up for yourself!
