28 Aug Jackass adventures: Camming safely
In the cam world, it is common to come up with fun, interactive and crazy show ideas. This is one of the wonderful freedoms we have as creators! The ability to turn anything you want into a show is one of the things I love most about the camming Industry. As the cam community grows more and more each day, it has become increasingly more difficult to set yourself apart from the crowd, all the while serving as a creative goldmine for new ideas, collaborations and more! Now, some of us are more adventurous and outgoing than others, this can give a great advantage to the more novelty side of the cam world. Playing games, having contests and performing literal “stunts” can be a lovely addition to your lineup! It is extremely important however to remember to be safe and not attempt anything you are not comfortable with. Some of us have experienced almost losing objects in places they shouldn’t be, and this goes without saying, but you really need to think things through before broadcasting your attempt at deep throating a 15-inch toy live on cam for the first time or even opening a bottle with your butt cheeks. This is the same for all of our “tricks” and should not be overlooked.
A party trick is an unusual skill you have that prompts the question “How did you figure out you could do that?” It can be any assorted fun event. Popping ping pong balls out of you at a target, fitting an entire nerf football inside you, anal “ring toss”, the list goes on. Admittedly, these kinds of shows were always an absolute bundle of fun. Even something as simple as tossing a marshmallow up and catching it in your mouth can be a fun and engaging way to let you and your viewers let loose! Keep in mind that simple, playful stunts like this are not only much safer, but oftentimes much more fun as it takes the pressure off. Many times the more difficult tricks and novelties that we learn will in fact happen right in front of our members eye! Learning over time or happy accidents can certainly lead to a wonderful, fun show for all.
"MANY TIMES THE MORE DIFFICULT TRICKS AND NOVELTIES THAT WE LEARN WILL IN FACT HAPPEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR MEMBERS EYE! LEARNING OVER TIME OR HAPPY ACCIDENTS CAN CERTAINLY LEAD TO A WONDERFUL, FUN SHOW FOR ALL."
When it comes to the more physically demanding tricks however, make sure that you are not only prepared and skillful, but that you KNOW that you can perform said trick (or at the very least have been practicing) ahead of time. The last thing that you want to attempt is a naked backflip if you do not already possess the skills to do a backflip and stick the landing fully clothed. Do not promise a split finish if you have never in your life done a split, the list goes on. Many of these things do in fact sound like a “duh” moment, but I can not tell you how many years in a row a cam model has to take a few days off because they thought launching a firework out of their ass was a good idea for the fourth of July. (Seriously, it happens every single year, stop doing this!) or “Butt Pong ” got out of hand, and you need to make that trip to the ER for a “removal of foreign object” and nobody wants that!
Keeping your cam room safe, yet silly is always a nice touch. This is especially fun during collaboration shows! Strip twister, water balloon fights, you name it! Putting a sexy twist on some of our favorite games and contests is a much safer alternative to physical stunts and, quite honestly, large insertions for those who are not fully prepared. I know in the heat of the moment that that giant eggplant you bought looks like it will fit in your ass with enough lube, but if it’s not something you have attempted before or feel comfortable with, no amount of money is worth the potential injuries you could inflict on yourself. Similarly, sticking candy in any hole that isn’t your mouth is not something that you should do unless you take the proper safety precautions. Food items inserted can cause a lot of issues such as infection, irritation, injury and things sticking together that shouldn’t… it happens! I’ll also mention on the topic of food, do NOT use any kind of oil (Olive, Coconut etc!) for lube, these substances are not meant for this purpose and can lead to infection and also faster deterioration of your toys. We have all seen the “Pussy Pop” for sale, if you insist on making these kinds of products please keep in mind the risks and try to minimize your risk as much as possible when possible.
In closing, when you are picking out all the “funsie onsie” stunts and tricks you want to incorporate into your live shows and content, keep safety in mind! This isn’t to say that practicing some of these things live will not be entertaining and bountiful, but keep it under control! If you get dared to stick your extremities in hot food, make sure it is cool enough to actually touch. If you want to do a crazy pole routine, practice ahead of time. If you absolutely feel the urge to wear 8-inch platforms, for the love of god make sure you can walk in them before running! The collaborative safety of you and your show guests will save you a lot of time spent healing and money on medical bills in the long run. Not to mention the injury to your ego when you are frantically trying to retrieve that last pong ball out of your ass once you can’t feel it any longer! Stay safe, stay practical and have fun!
