The fast-approaching holiday season can be great but also a tad on the stressful side, to say the least. Planning, shopping, organizing, and still putting your game face on to entertain can be a lot to handle. Sticking to your schedule and throwing a little extra mistletoe on the side will help you not only balance all the hustle and bustle coming at you from every angle but also give you realistic expectations! Getting through the holidays unscathed (on more than one level) is not only possible but can be a lot of fun. Involving your members and fans in your jolly good time will not only bring a wholesome, inviting feel to your interactions but also, generally speaking, it is something we all crave this time of year. That being said, there are a lot of different things you can do to not only get in touch with your inner elf on the shelf but also keep your content and interactions inclusive for everyone!
Live cam during the holiday season can be a lot of fun! Themed contests and games are always a nice addition to any roster of activities; this is also a great chance to test out some different kinds of things for non-holiday streams. Similarly, adding a little holiday season flare to contests you already host is also pretty easy! For example, if you have a monthly “bingo board” where your members tip “x” amount to gain control of that “space” until the inevitable bingo for the big prize, you can turn this into an advent calendar where each “space” reveals a smaller prize instead. This not only gives more people a chance to participate and win, but it is a simple change that you can easily implement while maintaining the fun your members are used to. Having a lineup of “prize stockings” is also a very inclusive and lucrative novelty attention grabber that gives your members the guarantee of winning but also plays into the micro-transaction dynamic (check out more on the importance of micro-transactions here) – perhaps having 4 different tiers, with cheap options such as “1-month premium snap” “5 spanks” “fan sign” or other simple things, followed by increasing amounts for each tier and upping the significance of the prizes as the stocking pulls get more expensive. Writing the prizes on a small piece of paper and “pulling them out of the hat” with each tip can also be a fun, novelty feature that fans will enjoy! There’s something to be said about fun suspense while waiting for a prize to be revealed (thank you to all those sick days at home watching game shows!). Have fun with your shows and don’t be afraid to lay the holiday spirit on as thick as you like, it’s a fun chance to mix up the norm!

Content that has a very specific theme always has its place, and this is important to remember when making holiday-specific content. Sure, your videos will do well during the season, but making “Holiday-themed” content that stands the test of the rest of the year simply takes a little tweaking. This isn’t to say you can’t use that glass candy cane toy while wearing an elf costume, but simply throwing on a red lingerie set can also do the trick. Think about the goal, if you are on a content making binge, keep in mind that your “Mrs Clause home alone on Christmas Eve” video may not gain the traction you want in the middle of spring, however “Naughty Cougar has the house to herself” translates nicely through the entire year. If you are torn between the two, make both! Having realistic expectations for holiday-themed content is important (This isn’t exclusive to the end-of-the-year holiday season either, hello Cupid?) If you want to create content that will continue to create revenue through the year, giving your content a warm and inviting “holiday” ambience while wearing something that can be holiday-themed OR simply a sexy outfit is the key. A red bondage harness, for example, works not only for Christmas ( Red and resembling the reins on Santa’s Sleigh, yes, please!) but works wonders for good old-fashioned everyday smut. I call this “Holiday Neutral” as the content is not limited to relevance during that specific season.
With any kind of seasonal-themed content, expectations should be kept in check. It is important to remember that not everyone enjoys novelty holiday content. Everyone is different. Some don’t celebrate; some are just not into the gimmick of it all. This is normal. This is also a good reason to continue with a nice mix of non-themed content and shows during this time. It is important also to remember that the holiday season, in general, is a bit of a depressing time for many people, models and members alike. For one reason or another, an otherwise outgoing individual will recluse during this time of year. This is not something to take personally! As far as tipping and sales go, many of us expect the Christmas season to be full of gifts, big tips and all sorts of generosity. This may be a real possibility for some, but keeping in mind that your members are also focusing their spending money in other places at this time is an important piece of information to remember. That being said, this is a wonderful season to show your own generosity by having all kinds of deals, sales and other options that are more affordable. Staying on track and not being discouraged when you don’t receive floods of tokens and gifts can be tough, but it is very important. Do not rely on the potential of members’ generosity. Meeting your goals by putting the work in will ensure that you don’t lose your momentum, and if, by chance, Santa has determined that you were good this year and you receive an earth-shattering tip, that’s a bonus on top of the fact that you had already cleared your goal! No matter what you decide to do during the end of the year rush, keep it fun and keep it sexy!
