Tell us about you!
My name is Poppy, and I’m so excited to be RedGIFs January Creator of the Month! I’m a 5’4” brunette from the East Coast of the U.S. who loves to lay out in the sunshine! I’m also an engineer, a cat lover, a shopaholic, and a very good girl ( if you know what I mean).
How long have you been in the Adult industry?
I started posting pictures of my feet on Reddit at the end of April in 2021. I can’t believe it’s been almost four years since I started!
Aside from RedGIFs, what platforms are you active on?
I am active on a lot of different platforms! I have two OnlyFans pages – one for all types of content and another specifically for foot fetish content. I’m also very active on Fansly, and I post a lot of fetish content on there, as well! I love how I am able to have different subscriber tiers on Fansly, so I can cater to a lot of different preferences all in one spot! Fans can access most of my PPV videos on my ManyVids video store, and my ManyVids items shop is the only place where I sell my worn items! I have a profile on LoyalFans, too, that’s kind of similar to ManyVids. I’m able to maintain a video store for fans who don’t want to subscribe, but I also am able to post exclusive content for subscribers!
What’s one thing you wish you would have been told when starting your journey in this industry?
Advertise as often, and on as many platforms, as possible! It’s not as much about the content you create as it is how visible you are. I posted exclusively on Reddit for about a year, and I definitely missed out on reaching a much broader audience. I also avoided posting on TikTok for a long time because I felt like I was being “cringe,” which was such a mistake. Each platform gives you an opportunity to fill a specific niche, which helps you appeal to a lot more people!
What do you love most about RedGIFs?
Oh, there are so many things! I post on Reddit a lot, and RedGIFs is the only video hosting platform I use to embed my gifs in posts. All I have to do is copy and paste the link to my video into Reddit and I’m good to go! It’s also amazing that creators can submit requests to the RedGIFs Creators X account to have videos posted on the various RedGIFs X pages. That extra visibility is so helpful!
What is your favorite thing about being an Adult Content Creator?
I have two favorite things! For one, I love that I get to make people feel good, either by providing content to help someone relax or just by chatting with a subscriber who’s feeling a little lonely. I also am so grateful I get to work for myself and make my own schedule! Even though I work a ton of hours (and every weekend), I am in charge of my time and if I need or want to be somewhere on a certain day, I have that freedom!
What’s your favorite type of content to create?
It’s hard to choose a favorite! I’ve been creating a lot of role play content over the last year and that’s been a ton of fun. I like trying to simulate situations that are not necessarily likely to happen, but are still well within the realm of possibility (e.g., hooking up with your friend’s girlfriend or with your new neighbor whose mail you received by accident).
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I love building Lego sets! I especially like Lego flowers and the other décor-type sets. I have at least ten different sets that I’ve built displayed around my home. I think they’re so whimsical and pretty!
What advice would you give to other creators who are just getting started?
Making money as a NSFW content creator is not as easy as it seems. Don’t be surprised if it takes months of dedicating all of your free time to content creation and building your online presence before you start making good money. It will be worth the effort! Never forget that it’s as important to be professional as it is to have fun, and being a content creator needs to be treated like a business. Enjoy your fans, connect with them, and provide them with an engaging experience, but don’t forget that this is your job.
