Tell us about you!
My name is Jasmine Sherni. I’m a bisexual, queer, Pakistani/Punjabi adult entertainer raised in a “small town” in Louisiana. I initially began my adult life as a Critical Care Nurse in intensive care and emergency medicine. However, I soon realized I was unfulfilled and decided to invest my time in modelling, which eventually led to OnlyFans and then the professional porn industry.
How long have you been in the Adult industry?
I’ve been in the adult industry for almost two years now. I started my OnlyFans in March 2022. Being the creator of the month for RedGIFs on my two-year anniversary is extremely special to me. Regarding the professional scene, I shot my first professional production, ‘A Bollywood Tail,’ in August 2023 with Brazzers. I feel extremely lucky to have worked with a major production company on my first scene, and it has been very well received.
Aside from RedGIFs, what platforms are you active on?
I'm active on Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and TikTok. Among these platforms, I am most active on Instagram. Balancing engagement across various platforms can be challenging, but the rewards are substantial. What’s one thing you wish you would have been told when starting your journey in this industry?
Ooof! Just one? If I could go back and start my journey again, there are a few things I might have done differently. However, I often wonder if the twists and turns I faced contributed to the success I’ve had.
If I had to pick just one thing, it would be the realization of how challenging it is to bridge the gap between being a regular influencer and model and diving into sex work on OnlyFans. A major hurdle has been the difficulty in monetizing my social media platforms, securing brand deals, or working with companies that often exclude sex workers. This bias against sex workers can limit opportunities for collaboration and financial growth, making it a crucial aspect to be aware of from the beginning.
Reflecting on that, I wish I had started my regular modelling Instagram sooner, hoping to build a more inclusive and accepting platform over the years before fully committing to OnlyFans.
What do you love most about RedGIFs?
What I love most about RedGIFs is its creator-friendly approach. The platform is evidently designed with creators in mind, offering robust support, an intuitive layout, and marketing strategies that prioritize creators. What is your favorite thing about being an Adult Content Creator?
My favorite aspect of being an adult creator lies in the freedom it offers for creativity and identity expression. Previously, I struggled to find spaces where I truly saw myself. As a Queer, femme, kinky, and South Asian individual, I know there are others like me navigating the intersections of these identities. However, the representation I sought was lacking. Now, I have the opportunity to authentically embrace and showcase my identity, serving as a beacon for others. It’s about encouraging people to be true to themselves, even in spaces where such representation is scarce. Also, offering a safe kink space for our fans is part of what we enjoy the most.
What’s your favorite type of content to create?
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite of anything. So, I’m going to go with a statement that’s a little more broad. My favorite type of content to create is content that inspires my creativity and brings me joy. Sometimes, it comes as a motivational audio JOI. Other times, it’s finding new ways to tease a co-performer on camera.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
Fun facts are tricky for me, as I’m never quite sure what qualifies. One amusing tidbit is that many people expect me to be taller when they meet me in person, or they assume I’m of average height, but in reality, I’m quite short.
What advice would you give to other creators who are just getting started?
For those embarking on their creator journey, my advice is to seek inspiration from creators you admire and whose work aligns with your vision. Define who you want to be as a creator. Choose platforms strategically—start with one and gradually expand. Establish a consistent schedule for content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
Transitioning into full-time creation demands a significant amount of work. It’s okay not to master every aspect from the start; you’re likely acquiring numerous new skills. Give yourself the space to learn and grow. You’re doing just fine.
